Iowa #4 Seed 2007-08 MACHA Conference Tournament
The Iowa Hawkeyes will take on the Illinois St. Redbirds 5:00pm this Friday at the East
Alton Ice Arena in East Alton, IL. The Hawkeyes come in to the conference tournament at
the number 4 seed going 7-5-1 in conference play. The Redbirds are the 5th seed with a
6-7-1 conference record. Last weekend these two teams met at Illinois St. ISU came away
with a 6-5 victory Friday night. However, the Hawks tallied 3 third period goals to overcome
a 5-2 deficit going into the third period. They took that momentum into Saturday's game
and came away with a 4-3 victory.
