turning away 25 of his 27 shots taken at him. Starting for the Hawks will be #4
Kyle Jacobson at center, #15 Graeme Laxton and #18 Pete Opalacz at wing.

1st Period: With 14:03 remaining in the 1st period, Missouri State's #19 Dan
Odenwald puts the puck past Iowa netminder Tim Strauch. Exactly 7 minutes
into the period, a bouncing puck snuck by Strauch to lift the IceBears to a
2-goal lead.
2nd Period: To start the 2nd period, both teams were down a man, making
the first two minutes of the second a 4-on-4 game. With 12:57 left in the 2nd
period, a metal piece between two pieces of glass broke. Game is on hold
until maintenance can get that fixed. Missouri State's Joe Combs scored a
short-handed goal with 6:01 remaining in the 2nd period to put the Hawks
down 3-0. At 17:51 of the 2nd, #4 Kyle Jacobson got a 10-minute misconduct
and a 2-minute minor for cross checking, putting the 3rd leading scorer for the
Hawkeyes out until the 10-minute mark of the 3rd period.
3rd Period: 4:09 into the third period, IceBears forward Anthony Trupiano
got a penalty for charging into the goaltender. However, Iowa goalie, Tim
Strauch retaliated and received a 2-minute minor for roughing as he threw
punches at Trupiano. Many penalties, 64 minutes total, happening with just
over a minute left to go in the game. With only 7.5 seconds left in the game,
3 Hawks have been ejected, 4 hawks in the penalty box, 3 on the ice and only
10 on the bench!
