Coralville, IA - The University of Iowa Hockey team will hold the first ever Hawkeye
Hockey Clinic this Saturday and Sunday at Coral Ridge Ice Arena in Coral Ridge
Mall. The clinic is for all young players ages 5-14. Players of all ability levels are
invited to attend the clinic and registration will remain open until the start of the clinic.
The clinic begins at 2:00 PM on Saturday for players aged 5-9 and at 4:00 PM for
players aged 10-14. Players and their parents are encouraged to arrive at least 30
minutes early if they have not yet registered for the clinic. All players will have
experience at least 3 hours of on-ice instruction and an additional 3 hours of off-ice
instruction over the course of the two day clinic. Players will have the opportunity to
work with Iowa's coaches, players, and staff who will help them work on their hockey
skills through fun, yet productive, methods.
All participating players will receive Hawkeye Hockey Clinic jerseys, get an
opportunity to meet the Iowa IceHawks players, coaches, and staff, have the chance
to receive autographs, some will even have the chance to win different prizes being
given away throughout camp.
If you have not yet registered for the Hawkeye Hockey Clinic, and would like to
attend, it is not too late! However, please arrive a half hour early if you have not yet
