WANTED - Marketing/Fundraising Director
Hawkeye Hockey is actively seeking a qualified person(s) to act as the director of Marketing and Fundraising for the
upcoming 2008-09 Season. This position is perfectly suited for a Marketing/Business Major looking for valuable
experience in running a small business type operation. This position is a non-compensated, expense paid
arrangement. In past seasons team members have handled all of the marketing and fundraising duties. This season
these duties will handled by playing members as well, but we are in desperate need of a dynamic person, with fresh
new ideas willing to donate their time and energy.
Duties would include the following items:
1. Develop budget in coordination with Financial Advisor & Board Officers.
2. Coordinate all marketing/fundraising efforts.
3. Present all marketing/fundraising efforts to Board for financial approval.
4. Publish Game Programs & Posters.
5. Solicit potential advertisers & sponsorships.
6. Determine team merchandising catalog.
7. Oversee sales of merchandise for all home games
